3500 CCS No MPB, try to do at least 15-20 runs a night but I do both SOS and STTH, then hit the snowball arena or run some presents in town. Straight to the Heart really great for CCS's, takes longer, but I love watching a mob of grentchies launch a barrage of snowballs at some poor snowman.

buying tons of tickets doesn't mean you're going to win.
no but buying tons of tickets gets you better odds at winning
Still no bear for me but i'll keep running and making the odds a bit better at a "Win"
Edit forget that I just changed chars and ran a few runs on my worr/monk and guess what
I almost s##t myself

nice job Aussie, I'll do that tonight too. I haven't thought of changing characters in between trips to see if I get lucky.

21 pages of confirmed polar bears lol
shame thread couldnt be kept clean and tidy for just adding your bear and approx how many runs you did.
now its just turned into a squabblefest about who deserves the bear the most

I've been rather busy.
I do appreciate discussion, but this thread really isn't the best place for it - another thread specifically for such discussion would be fine. It just gets excessively cluttered with multiple purposes going on in this one.

Thanks all.
I did between 486 and 490 runs I'm pretty sure it's 488 but saying the between figure cause i was prolly tired and missed some at some point.
Runs took between 6 and 10 min
sometimes fighting everything sometimes just running to the door and letting snowmen do the fighting.
Used cupcakes only at the start of event for title and when they ran out didn't use any cons
didn't count the ccs as i was selling stacks when i got a full stack
I used the same char until today and changed to my worr/monk 3rd run got me the drop.
hope this little stats is helpful in some way.

Whomever gutted this thread of all the garbage...
Thank You!!!!

Seriously, it's sooooo much better now. The original purpose of this thread was to merely collect data. I had never said "here's how we use said data" but everyone seemed to think I had and thing's really got off track. While I'm certainly happy it's purged of all that, maybe we can have a constructive discussion of how to use the information(flawed as it might be) and come up with a better guestimate than others have on these forums AFTER Jan 2nd
My updated stats:
Successful Runs: 1810
Mini's 1(Run#337)
I was thinking that a set number of polar bear minis were being distributed this year or even that they stopped dropping after a certain day(the 25th fir example) until Aussie's post(Grats! btw). I haven't seen any new MPB seller's in Kam for awhile now nor have there been many recent posts anywhere on guru from new owners.
Perhaps there is a 2nd bear for me after all? I'll do some more runs between events on New Year's Day. Likely I won't hit 2000 runs but I'll get as close as I can. Good Luck to anyone out there still hunting. After the Rift Warden vanishes, I'll tally up the results and update the first post. If you have submitted a post of your MPB drop, please make sure you add a screenshot. Thanks all for your contributions.

If only I had, atleast, 2 accounts. Oh well, not worth the extra $20+$30 or whatever Proph+EotN costs currently.

Operation: Shock and Paws Classification: Top Secret
Priority: High
Operatives: Classified
Target: Miniature Polar Bears
Overview
Operation Shock and Paw is an operation dedicated to the swift extraction of the target/s.
Surveillance
Unknown number of attempts. Snowman Summoners offer inaccurate data as they have been purchased from arms dealers. Closest possible data will rely on Wintergreen Candy Canes. Five-hundred and seventeen [517] Wintergreen Candy Canes currently in custody. According to sources a drop rate (not including fixed drops) of 16.10% has been reported. Intel states that approximately 434 runs have been attempted (517x.839).
Tactics
Early on in the operation, three operatives were in the field running simultaneously. This was later reduced to two operatives, and finally over the last few days just one operative was in the field. Operative runs to rendezvous point Alpha and awaits for further instruction.
Objective
Confirmed one [1] Mini Polar Bear. Drop one [1], Day thirteen [13]. Operation still commencing.
Archives
Images may appear in poor quality due to command lines being ran whilst on operation (-dx8 and -noshaders). Footage has been censored due to top secret nature of this report.

250 to 300 runs now since start of the event over several characters from lvl4 to lvl20 in between JQ runs. Tried everything from...clearing everything (including the hidden grench in the corner and pickingup all shards; to running to the end and hiding in the corner (and going afk for a break). Runs avaraged 6 to 10 minutes. The quest has gotten boring by now but the excitement before opening every chest keeps me going. Sadly to say no MPB for me. It is however a good way to work on my titles unless i'm not running my main character. I must say it took quite a few runs before i mastered this dungeon. I keep thinking the MPB might have been in one of those runs where i got killed.....2 seconds before the chest spawned. I'll keep trying however.
Congrats to all that persevered and got a MPB.
.....and a happy new year to all.

Typical Guildwars.
I'm inactive for about 2 month. I just logged in to get the new hats. Because of some waiting time i did about 4 (normal runs, no rush) and i got my MPB after the 2nd run.
Don't know if this is interesting for you, but i did the runs with my necro, starting the quest from KMD japanese district 1.
Bye, and have a nice year 2009.
/edit: Befor you flame me to hell, I'll give it away to a friend who is still playing the game.
